Koc University Optical Microsystems Laboratory https://mems.ku.edu.tr/ have been at the forefront of research and development in computer generated holographic (CGH) displays. CGH displays allow to shape and steer optical beams in a digitally programmable manner and produce true 3D holograms on the retina with all the required depth and focus cues. CGH display and pupil tracking technologies will now be applied to tackle the most important challenge in the ophthalmology clinic related to cataract surgeries.
