Sven Holmstrom received the M.Sc. degree in engineering biology from Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden in 2005.
Since 2005, he has been a Research Engineer with the Optical Microsystems Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey. During his time there, he has spent about one year as a visiting Researcher at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland, and four months at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. He is the coauthor of nine journal and 15 conference proceedings papers. He is the holder of one patent. His research interests include microfabrication and micro-optoelectromechanical systems.
