Merck Advanced Technologies, the Korean affiliate of Germany-based chemical and pharmaceutical company Merck KGaA, announced Thursday the winners of its “Merck Award” and “Merck Young Scientist Award” during the 2012 International Meeting of Information at Daegu EXCO.

PhD student Kaan Akşit and M.Sc. student Osman Eldeş presented OML in the meeting. The paper from OML entitled as “Mixed polarization 3D Technique for Scanned Laser Pico Projector Displays” was awarded for Merck Grand Award. The young scientist award was given by his excellency, Merck group’s president, Mr. Jürgen König.
